Help connecting vcr to vizio tv

Hello,



I recently bought a new old stock vcr from Goodwill and need help connecting it to my tv.

I tried coaxial but without the remote I can’t set the tv to channel 3 or 4. I can use the power button to select composite, HDMI, etc but can’t change channels.

I have two composite on the side and RGB on the back. I connected the RCA cables to the vcr and to the side of the tv and selected composite but nothing happens.

I know the vcr works because I tested it on an analog tv at the store. How do I get my vcr to work?
