Are we playing CGI from the past?

The visual language of today's games has evolved a great deal. And if we are talking about what we can appreciate on a screen, I would say with confidence that the consoles already perform graphics equivalent to the 2001 movie. In some cases, the current games have surpassed many elements of this film. The next question is when we can play games with graphics equivalent to the 2005 Final Fantasy Advent Children or the recent and ambitious Kingsglaive. PS5? PS6? PS7?

Please help.
